Pattern Matching the Skeleton Plot and Dated Chronology

The objective: To find the mirror image of the patterns
  • of the marks pointing up on the skeleton plot
  • with the marks hanging down on the dated master dendrochronology
How to move the skeleton plot (try it on the right):
  • Put the mouse cursor in the gray region of the plot
  • Click and hold the left mouse button
  • Move the mouse left or right
How to know when you have a match:
  • It should be visually obvious
  • If it's not obvious, the text above the skeleton plot will let you know
  • All of the skeleton plot marks--and even the "b" marks--should line up with those on the dated master chronology
