Soils - 
	soil moisture
	soil properties (nutrient N)
Trees - tag, stem map, and permanently monitor seedlings (at least) and hopefully all the big trees too.

Wildlife (volunteers, Forest Service?)
	insects
	birds
	small mammals
	seed samples in soils (viability - germination)

Grazing  (would need exclosures)
	grass protein content (other) - grass clippings

Landscape scale design to capture climate change ecoysystem shifts (Pipo to Pj)?
