Restoration activities will include: • Preserving all piñon and juniper trees over 12 inches diameter. • Preserving small clusters of piñon and juniper for use by wildlife. • Preserving all ponderosa pines. • Preserving all oak trees. • Leaving approximately 20 percent of the area unthinned to provide wildlife habitat. • Removal of wildings (transplants). • Removal of fuelwood.
