These are generally held at Tree-Ring Lab West, Building 45, Room 20, enter east side door (formally old Purchasing and Stores Building) in the middle of the day: check the program for specific times and locations.
Paul Sheppard has written an introduction to skeleton plotting, a technique used to help crossdate tree-ring patterns. This introduction is not only a descriptive guide that includes much background information on crossdating in general, but also features an interactive page where you can try your hand at crossdating at various levels of difficulty.
You can search the on-line version of Henri Grissino-Mayer's bibliography of dendrochronology to compile lists of references in particular areas or topics.

as these Web pages we also maintain a anonymous
FTP server, but this will not work with some client
programs, (however many of the files are available through
both systems). You can use this FTP site to exchange files
