Field trip signees,

The current list of attendees appears at the bottom of this message.
This is just a check of those who signed up for the field trip to see if
you are still planning on going. If not, please let me know so that
we can free up your seat for any others who might be interested.
If you will not be able to attend, let me know ASAP (although by
Friday morning is probably ok).

For those going, plan to meet at 8am Saturday at Gate 15 of West
Stadium and leave as soon as we have all of the signed waivers
squared away. We will be try to hand out the waiver forms in class,
so you can bring them on Saturday all filled out. Be prepared for a
cool morning but warm afternoon, if we get conditions typical of this
time of year. We will be a little higher than Tucson in the morning,
so condition will be cooler than here. Sunscreen, hat, clothes that
you do not mind getting a little dirty, and walking shoes are a good
idea (although the farthest we will walk is a few hundred meters at
one stop). Also bring water and a lunch, although if you forget
lunch we will stop about 30 minutes for lunch at a place where you
could purchase something. You are welcome to bring cameras as
well.
FOREIGN STUDENTS- it is probably a good idea to bring along
your student visa. Our trip is south of Tucson, and occasionally
and Border Patrol checkpoint is set up along the various highways
we travel.
Finally, there will be a waiver form for each student to read and
sign before you will be able to go.
