1. Please read pages 3, 4 and 5 of the EPA brochure at the following site prior to this Friday's group activity. It is directly available as a PDF document under “Content” at the Section01/02 D2L site for week of March 26 or by the following this link.

It will probably take about 15-20 minutes to read.

2. Then come up with ONE detailed scheme for reducing the greenhouse gas emissions. You should consider the greenhouse gases described in the brochure (and the large table therein, which summarizes the sources and amounts of greenhouse gases). Your idea could be related to one or more of the following: methods to reduce anthropogenic CO2 emissions from specific sources; energy needs for our society and/or capitalism; taxes on energy/carbon; incentives; energy conservation; energy efficiency; alternate sources of energy; CO2 sequestration; non-CO2 greenhouse gas emissions. BE SPECIFIC, LOGICAL and COMPLETE (3-5 sentences or clear bullet points).

Put your scheme in writing, because you will turn it in and your group will need to write it into one of the GA4 pages on Friday.
