In class today we did the following:
1. Students got into their GROUPS for the first time!! Do find your group # and location of where your groups sits in the classroom, please see the appropriate link below for your class section:
Groups for Section 001+ 002: MWF @ 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm Groups for Section 003+ 004: MWF @ 2:00 pm - 2:50 pm
2. Then Dr H gave a presentation on Topic #6 Part II - The Radiation Laws (cont.)

3. We then began our GROUP WORK! Students signed in
on their Group Folder and learned each other's names in a fun "ICEBREAKER"
session.
This was followed by:
Group Assignment G-1 Understanding Absorption Curves (worth 5
pts)
(To review it, see p 36 in Class Notes which contains 4 of the 5
questions in G-1)
4. Finally after all groups finished and the Group Folders were turned in, Dr H went over the answers to the activity. Class was dismissed about 5 minutes early

Find out what GROUP you are in and where your group sits, by clicking on the appropriate link under #1 above.
You can make-up the 5-point group activity you missed by printing out this G-1 Make-Up Handout, and working on the assignment on your own. Please indicate which section you are in and what your Group # is, then sign the document when you are done.
Submit your completed G-1 Assignment to Dr H in class on
Friday Sept 16th and it will be
graded to give you credit for the activity you missed.
