The Webpage of Jim Parks and Family

Me, Lily, and Stella in the Catalina Mountains, AZ, July 1993.

I work at the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research on the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson. I am a research specialist in the archaeology program.

I have recently become interested in birdwatching. I am a member of the Tucson Audubon Society. For photos of unusual Mallard hybrids I have been observing at Sweetwater Wetlands and Agua Caliente Park, click here.

I'm starting to create a webpage dedicated to my Dad's memories of the Fox Tucson Theatre during the late 1940s. I will be transcribing a tape-recorded interview that I conducted with him. To see the first effort -- photographs of Dad walking down Congress Street in his Fox Theatre uniform, and of Dad behind the candy counter -- click here.

Easter 2000, after brunch at the Plaza Hotel, Tucson: Boots, Stella, Lily.

Lily and Stella, Summer 2001. (Boots died July 4th, 2001. R.I.P.)

That's all for now. Happy Trails!
