Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To visit the office, leave I-10 at Exit 352 (eastbound) or 355 (westbound) and go north on Highway 191 to the stoplight (Highway 70). Turn left and continue to the next stoplight (5th Avenue). The District Office is located on the third floor of the Post Office. The Safford Ranger District includes four of the Coronado National Forest’s “sky islands”: the Winchester, Galiuro, Santa Teresa and Pinaleno mountain ranges. DOUGLAS DISTRICT CHIRICAHUAS Douglas D. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To visit the Office, leave I-10 at Exit 331 west of Willcox and proceed south on Highway 191 to its intersection with Highway 80. Turn left toward Douglas at the intersection. In Douglas, turn left at the first stoplight onto Pan American (US 80 E Truck Route) and drive for about one mile. Turn left onto Leslie Canyon Road. The Ranger Station is on your right about 100 yards down the road. Or, from New Mexico, leave I-10 at Exit 5 (Road Forks) and proceed south on Highway 80 to its intersection with Leslie Canyon Road, just northeast of downtown Douglas.
