ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1. Dr. H gave a presentation on Topic #10 on Understanding Systems & Feedbacks - Part II:    

 Topic #10 Understanding Systems & Feedbacks - Part II  [color pdf ]

2.  We watched another segment of

"Too Hot Not To Handle"     (a 2006 HBO Documentary) The video is posted in D2L (under videos shown in class)  We watched the segment from about 10 -23 minutes, through the section on "Melting Alaska" -- (stopped at Sea Level Rise)

 

3. The class then got into groups to wrap up work on Assignment G-4  Applying the Energy Balance Terms 
    

4.  Dr H also brought up the issue of making an adjustment in the schedule for when Test #3 will be given.  A final decision will be announced on Friday.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Midterm Exams will be discussed in class on FRIDAY and an opportunity to earn some points back to improve your grade will be explained.

• To get credit for Assignment G-4, work on it on your own and bring it to class so you can contribute to what you group has already done.
