Description:
Ecosystem processes of the intermountain west are strongly controlled by the interaction between climate and disturbance events. Records recovered from tree-rings, lake sediments, and glaciers tell different aspects of this story ranging from geomorphic events, the onset (and end) of glaciation, and climate histories.
