42Em2850- Fremont granaries and rock art

Fremont masonry and adobe granaries located on a series of small ledges in the middle of a 120-foot cliff face near the mouth of Calf Creek. Access is by rock climbing or rappel. The site is associated with a small white spiral on the cliff face below the largest cluster of granaries. Also nearby is a small lithic scatter (42Em3361), the Range Creek flute found in Calf Canyon, and a small pithouse village (42Em3213) in the main canyon.
