42Em2849- Fremont granaries, habitation and rock art

A large, complex site with five masonry and adobe granaries located at the base of Budge¡¯s Arch, approximately 1100 feet above the canyon floor in the middle portion of Range Creek. Access is by hiking up steep, difficult terrain through a series of cliffs and talus slopes. The site is associated with pithouses, a burial, rock art, ceramics, lithic debitage and tools, and ground stone artifacts. Nearby is a cave site with storage, habitation features and artifact scatters, and several additional sites with adobe and masonry granaries.
