Valerie Trouet

I am an Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research at the University of Arizona.  I use tree rings to study the climate and its interaction with forest ecosystems and focus on approximately the last 2,000 years.  I am particularly interested in the reconstruction of atmospheric circulation patterns and how they influence wildfire regimes.  I like to travel and have been involved in research projects in the American West, southern Africa, central and southeastern Europe, and Siberia.

Thanks for visiting my webpage. Here, you can find my CV and publication list, as well as information about my research projects and teaching activities.  You’ll also find links to press releases concerning my research and to my friends in science.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’re interested in my research or if you would like to work with/for me.  Enjoy!
